QUESTION 2 What age should we teach our children about demons and the realness of them? It's certainly not taught in the public school setting! QUESTION 3 Should Christians keep the Sabbath day? I've heard multiple people say, oh you must have read about the Sabbath in the old testament, but when Jesus came things changed. Jesus never said that we should ignore the Sabbath day, correct? Does it matter which day we observe it? QUESTION 4 Hey Pastor Tim My question is where in the Bible does it say that Christians can eat unclean food, such as pig? Thanks QUESTION 5 I noticed the similarities between Hillsong and Waters- music, production, separation b/w pastor and congregants, invitation to accept Jesus, invitation to the altar at end of service, similar goals for growth and spreading God's Word...mega church ... how is Water's and Water's path different? Pastor Tim how can churches protect themselves and what policies do you and church leaders have in place to ensure power, money, and fame don't corrupt the beautiful community you have all created? QUESTION 6 My wife asked me about Isaiah 45:7 "I form light and create darkness; I make well-being and create calamity; I am the LORD, who does all these things." I did my best to give her my explanation but would be interested in someone who is more versed in understanding of the Bible to reply. QUESTION 7 The company I work for has enacted DEI programming and sends out emails on these different ‘employee resource groups’ incessantly. Granted, not all of these emails are ‘pride’ based, but a good percentage of them are. The idea came to me to petition my company to begin another ‘employee resource group’ but label it as a ‘Christian’ group, a group that has its tenets solely on the Bible’s principles. How should Christians react to DEI training? QUESTION 8 What does the bible say about anointing oil? I found in James 5:14-15: I thought I read a verse in the Bible that cautions the administration of anointing oil by someone other than an elder or priest, but I can't find the verse (other than the James one I shared). The James verse appears to suggest going to an elder but doesn't say must. I would love to know what you've learned in your studies. QUESTION 9 I'm curious how the argument can be made for "free will", can Christians have free will when Scripture like Romans Chapter 9 (for Jacob I loved, and Esau I hated, also pharaoh being raised up for the purpose of destruction). Similarly, Proverbs 16:4 says "the LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." and Jude 4 states "For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation." I'm curious to hear your perspective on the age-old Calvinism vs Arminianism debate. QUESTION 10 I saw something in the news about our government opening up about the existence of UFO's or UAP's.
