When Waiting on the Lord gets tough

from Moments of Joy · host Camille Joy

Hey Guys!  It was really on my heart to encourage you while you are in the middle of waiting. While we are waiting for our prayers to be answered by God,its hard not to let doubt kick in.  God is not a figment of our imagination. He is real and alive and desires for us to come into relationship with him, Trusting him in all things.    Scripture references for this episode: Isaiah 40:31-But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Proverbs 3:5-6 -Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Psalm 27:14-Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord Romans 5:3-4-More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, Psalm 37:7-Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Post these scriptures on index cards or post it stickers and hang around your house or office to encourage you while you wait. Hide the word in your heart.
