He had led rather ordinary life up until that point… no teachings, no disciples, no miracles. The impetus for all those began when he discovered or at least embraced his identity as God’s beloved child… Jesus encouraged each of us to make a similar spiritual journey, to be born again from above. At the heart of our rebirths is the understanding that we are God’s beloved sons and daughters, God’s beloved children. When we understand this we stop living small. We discern, develop, and deploy our gifts and share them with the world. Understanding that we are God’s beloved propels us into becoming our best and brightest selves. I’m Horace McMillon.
