WHEN WORDS WON’T DO Romans 8:26 “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” There are moments in life when our hearts seem full, yet the words are gone. We sit quietly before the Lord, wanting to pray, wanting to say something meaningful, but the thoughts seem tangled and the words simply refuse to come. Our minds feel overwhelmed, and our hearts carry more than we can express at the moment. I believe Most believers have had this feeling. Sometimes it comes during a season of sorrow. Other times it may appear in moments of deep reflection, when life feels heavy and complicated. And other times it simply comes from exhaustion. We bow our heads, open our hearts to God, and yet all we can offer is silence. But Scripture reminds us that even in those moments, we are never unheard.
