Many falsely believe that we must forgive ourselves. We cannot forgive ourselves. Only God can forgive us. Accepting God's forgiveness helps us to heal the wounds of our sins. There is no sin that is unforgivable. If we have not accepted God's forgiveness, we are saying that we do not trust that the blood of Christ wipes out our sins.
