When you don't see God anymore // Questioning mini-series

Episode 51 is part one of a mini-series: I opened the podcast "for dialogue with folks that may be concerned/confused by Christianity, who may have been wounded by it, or who simply don’t know what to think about God right now." Several people expressed interest, including Joey.  When I pressed record, I didn't know Joey, and Joey didn't know me, but we were both open to seeing where the conversation went.  Joey spent much of his life authentically engaging Christianity, but when doubt hit him unexpectedly, he entered a season of wrestling with who God is, and what that meant from him.  He now considers himself an atheist, and when he dropped that nugget well into the episode, he added with a smile, "So am I the first on the podcast?"
