This episode is all about listening to the dance calling.Sometimes the biggest thing standing in your way isn't your own excuse. It's someone else's. It's the fear of what your parents might think, what your friends might say, or whether the people around you will support you dancing in heels or doing something that feels completely outside of who they've always known you to be.I share my own experience growing up in a Catholic household and the conflicting feelings I had around dancing, femininity, and the work I do today. Whether those messages were spoken directly or picked up indirectly, they were still loud enough to make me question myself.We talk about what real support actually looks like. The people who truly support you don't immediately tell you why you shouldn't do something. They get curious. They ask what you love about it. They want to understand why you're being called toward it.I also talk about how it's okay to protect something while it's still new. If starting heels feels vulnerable, you don't have to tell everyone you're doing it. Sometimes it's enough to let it be yours until you feel strong enough to share it.This episode is about learning to quiet the noise, trust the calling, and remember that if something keeps pulling at you, there's probably a reason.
