When You Give

Matthew 6:1-4 God's provision is given presently so we have something to return in the future. It is not only to sustain us, but also to enable us. Where does our material resources come from? 1. Earnings 2. His gifts God appears to care little about the amount of success What should our goal be? 1. Our successes 2. His reward What caused the downfall? Fear Why is there fear? 1. There is risk 2. It doesn't make sense (listen and note what stands out to you in this section) What is always the answer to fear? Faith Faith that 1. God will bless our efforts 2. God will reward our results 3. God will meet our needs 4. God will remain faithful - even when we mess up
