When You Love Your Career, It Never Feels Like Work

S2E101: The Renegade Writer’s Mouthy MusingsWhat’s up, Y’all? Happy Tuesday to you! I hope things are going well, that you’re enjoying your job, career, or a day off. I was thinking about this today as I drove home from the gym. I love taking a mid-day break to go work out or take a nature hike to do some photography. Having the freedom to do that is amazing.At age 50, I love that my personal freedom outweighs my desire to make some big income. I do pretty well compared to most writers, but I don’t earn the most money I’ve ever made, back when I was selling real estate. But I’m much happier these days, and that says a lot, in our capitalistic society.I’ll always bust my ass to improve and earn more as a writer. I’ll do anything I can to succeed because I love what I do for a living, writing these articles and recording my podcast. I’m happy that it doesn’t consume my every moment, though. Just creating content to make you all happy and keep you entertained is a huge reward in itself.I appreciate you being all about it. Thank you for lending me your ears. I am glad to do a podcast or write an article not entirely about politics, sometimes.
