Father, we thank you this day. Lord, we appreciate you. Lord, we lift your name high, have all the names. Lord, thank you for the privilege you've given to us to see another day.
We know that we have no power over who. We have no strength over who. It is your messy that has kept us still deep. Your great messes.
As kept us still deep. We want to thank you for another brick and a beautiful day. We want to thank you for your messy and your kindness. Without your messy, we know we cannot survive.
Even for the messy of God we will have been consumed. It is your messy that keeps keeping us at time. What we are, we are today is by your messy and your grace. We give all the praise to you today.
We exhort you in Jesus' name. Our Father will ask of you today. Speak to us. Speak to us for Lord.
What do you want to do? May we thank you for your Your holy name. May we thank you for your family. Thank you, Father.
In Jesus' name we are free. Amen. The topic today is when you trust in yourself, when you trust in yourself. A memory of us is taken from Luke chapter 18, the Bible says, and inspect this parable onto the study which trusted in themselves, that they were righteous and despised others.
The Bible reference is taken from the same Luke chapter 18 from 9 through 14. May the Lord bless the reading of his word in our heart in Jesus' name. Friends, I want you to know today that you can trust in yourself whether directly or indirectly. But because of what God has blessed you with, may that be because of the multitude of gifts that is new.
Whether you have the multitude of multitudes of gifts, God has blessed you with several gifts. God has blessed you with possessions. May the God have blessed you with intelligence. May the God has blessed you with wisdom.
May the God has even blessed you with righteousness. You find it easy to do some things better than others. Whether you find it easy not to even sin against God. Whether you find it easy to be in right standing with God.
Others might be fornicating. Others might be committing adultery. But you, God gives you the grace that's thought he's not done within you. All these things are from the God's message.
There is nothing that you have or God has embedded in you that you get by your own power. God gives all to you. So when you are all these and you trust in yourself, I want to know that God is this. In our memory of us today, Luke, that I think this man, Jesus spoke a parable of certain people.
The Bible say he speak this parable unto sati, which trusted in themselves. Why do they trust in themselves? They trusted in the righteousness. They believe so much that they were righteous.
Not only that they believe in loom in their righteousness. They also despised others. God, Jesus came to them to tell them parables. Friends, no matter how God clothe you with righteousness, he does not want you to despise others.
Instead, you can find a way in which you will change them. You can find a way in changing them in the place of prayer and praying that God we have them to become as righteous as you are. And even when you are even saying that as well as the righteous as you are, watch it. If you are not saying it out of pride, because whatever thing that God gave unto you, it gives you in order for you to trust the more in Him.
The Bible says Jesus get the parable. About two men are waiting to be temple. What do they do to do in the temple? You're waiting to pray.
Friends, you can beat the wonders exactly according to the highest attendance in the church. As to you, your prayers are not present. What is the cause? You are trusting in yourself.
You are praying so that people will know that you know how to pray. You are praying in order for people to come to you and to reward you. Jesus said they have received their reward. They have received their reward.
Friends, when you trust in yourself, Jesus said, such person will be a beast. When you exhort yourself, Jesus said you will be a beast. These are certain people came to the temple to men. One was a Pharisee and the other was the publican.
The Bible said the Bible said the Father says, to God and pray. You can also stand up and pray and pray with yourself. The Bible says to God and pray with himself. He says, I see it was praying to God.
But the prayer was divided into Him. And he said, God, can you see now? It was a city that was ready to pray and be able to pray. So, someone like I have been a church, I will be praying and saying in Jesus' name.
But what is in the heart of such person is different from what he was praying the same thing. The Bible says, with only with mouths and with his men, the blood of his body, the house is finally away from him. God in the same sense. The Bible says this is a Pharisee, he is praying to the dogs with himself.
God, I think he can be thinking God. But what is the content of the thanksgiving? Is the contents to despise others? Is it content?
Is to make others to feel as if they were to worse than us? The Bible says, he then doped and he said, I am not as other men. When you are praying and you are comparing yourself with others, with the act of pride, watch it. You are trusting in yourself rather.
The Bible says, I am not like other men. I am not a stoshanist. It was mentioned in what other men do. He called them as stoshanists.
He called them on just. He called them adotras. They were the publican that even were even afraid of praying for messy. He even said it was not like this Republican of the truth.
It was not like the Republican. Because the Republican was praying for messy. But why he was laying in forcy on what he had done? The goodness of God would be in his life.
The goodness of God in his life. He acknowledged to himself that he got it by himself. He said in the place of prayer to God and said, Lord, you know, I fast in the week. I fast twice in the week.
You know, I give type of all that I possess. I want to see the content of his prayer. And I want to see the content of the prayer of the publican. The Bible says the publican standing of our love.
He found it difficult to look up. He will not look up too much to heaven. He was so humble. Before God, I found it difficult to lift up in his eyes on the ground.
But it came and smiled, or smote upon his breast and said, God, be messy for me is sin. Jesus spoke and said, this man, the publican went down to his house just to fight rather than the water. And he said, everyone that exalted himself shall be a beast. And he that don't let himself shall be exalted.
Friends, stop trusting in yourself. Even when you are righteous in quotes, let it be that is God that clothe you with that righteousness. Even when you find it easy and to get some things. Or that's my best offering to get it, but you get it easy.
It is not you. It is God. Don't are claggies. Anything to yourself.
Give honor of anything to yourself. When you trust in yourself, when you trust in yourself, you will see all these attributes of these Pharisees in you. The prayer, I want you to be praying for yourself daily. Is that Lord?
Let your messy review. Do not see yourself as righteous before God. God eat with passion. Even though you find it difficult, you find it easy to do some things.
You find it easy not to follow it. It's not to uncommie a daughter. You do not to sin. Please not be boastful before God.
See this mama man. This is a Pharisee telling God I paid the side of all. Like we say, so we'll give him even the money money he had. We'll give him the money that he paid type from.
How much can you give for him to God? He said I fast twice. He would give me power to fast friends. No matter how you are, do not trust in yourself.
Trust in God that gives you power to do such things. And when you are praying, let the prayer of messy prevail over your prayer. Tell me to God daily. It is not your messy.
I have acquired all this. And when you are saying it, the meaning is within your hearts. Messy of God makes you to forget all you have got. And let God know that it is by his messy.
Stop trusting in yourself. You will do yourself am in doing this. This is what God has for you today. I pray the Lord will speak to your hearts in the way that you will understand it.
