When Your Back Is Against the Wall, Do This

What do you do when a million-dollar deal is on the line and your back is against the wall? Faith in your business vision is important. But what happens when things aren't going according to plan, the pressure is mounting, and you're running out of options? In this episode of the Insure Your Success Podcast, host Ortez "Tez" Wells shares a powerful conversation with a successful real estate investor who found himself at the closing table for an apartment complex without the money needed to complete the deal. With only days to find a solution, he had two choices: give up or take action. His story reveals an important lesson every entrepreneur needs to understand: Faith is not a business plan. But you need it to build one. Drawing from more than 27 years in the insurance industry and his own entrepreneurial journey, Tez explores why believing in yourself isn't enough to build a successful business. You'll hear about the importance of resilience, resourcefulness, building relationships, taking calculated risks, and executing a business strategy even when the outcome is uncertain. Whether you're an entrepreneur, small business owner, insurance agent, or aspiring agency owner, this episode will challenge you to examine how you're approaching setbacks and uncertainty. The takeaway: Faith gives you courage. Resilience keeps you going. Consistent action creates progress. Sometimes the vision doesn't need to change. The strategy does.
