When Your Kid Goes Through The College Search Process

Many of us have been or will be there - parenting a child going through the college search process.  In some ways, children of admissions professionals have unique advantages.  In other ways, our insight into the process makes this a genuinely different experience for us.  How should we approach it, and what can we learn from going through it ourselves? This week, we are joined by two counselors who, at times, counsel both of your hosts as we are at the early stages of our own kids considering college options. Stacey Cunitz, Director of College Counseling at The Crefeld School, and Certified Educational Planner Blue Moon Educational Planning, both in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as President of Pennsylvania ACAC starts the conversation with some tangible advice for parents who are admissions professionals.
