When Your Teen Doesn't Want to Talk

Your teen just stares blankly at you, gives you a one word grunt response, and looks generally disinterested in his own life and you want to absolutely explode. This is his life after all! He should care. He should have an opinion. And the fact that he doesn't seem to drives you completely bonkers. And bonkers looks like you pushing, prying, digging, and maybe some nagging about decisions you want made. Because you just want this teen to have a good life.  But that might not be how he's interpreting your efforts. In today's episode I share some insight as to what might be going on and I give you a few things to consider, things to try, and ways to connect  instead of whatever hasn't been working so far.
