They don’t matter because you’ve already decided you will grow… and then you do.When you’ve already decided that you will be miserable, you study and do what miserable people do. When you’ve already decided you are dependent on the vice, you study and do what other people dependent on the vice do. When you’ve already decided you will shrink in a direction, you surround yourself and do what those who’ve shrunk in that direction do. You show up at the same time, in the same way, often, to embrace that reality.  You never stop to consider your current opportunities, your blessings, or better possibilities. They don’t matter because you’ve already decided you will shrink.
