"Where are the male music therapists?" (part 1) with Stephen Tok & Dan Robinson
from Able Voice Podcast · host Synergy Music Therapy & Wellness Services
It’s no secret to us that there is a prominence of female music therapists in our field. Being the curious beings we are, we wanted to explore this more deeply to see our field from a different lens than our own and to open the space to the voices of the men currently working in the field of music therapy. In this special two part episode of the Able Voice Podcast we have connected with five wonderful music therapists who share with us their journey in the field as male identifying individuals. In this first part of the conversation we are joined by Stephen Tok and Daniel Robinson to share their outlook and to kick start the discussion! Stay tuned for part two of this episode coming next Sunday as we continue the conversation with Joel Klassen, Daniel Allen, Dan Bevan-Baker.
