Where Did My Time Go?

In episode 109, Julianna talks about why business owners often feel their weeks disappear, with days filled by calls, emails, small problems, chores and screen time. She shares research from University College London and Cardiff University using time-use diaries, including that people in the UK spend about 13 hours a day looking at screens and that 18 to 24-year-olds spend around 77% of waking hours involving a screen. Julianna links this sense of lost time to a common business trap: confusing busyness with profitability. She explains that revenue is not the same as profit and that focusing only on revenue can lead to taking on more work without better results.
