Where Do We Go From Here? - 12-27-20

Praise the LORD! Scripture texts are from Matt 2.1-12 and Luke 2.15-20 from the thought "Where Do We Go From Here?" To answer the question, let’s draw a contrast and make comparisons between the Magi and the shepherds. The elite went looking for the King while the lowly went looking for the Savior. However, both groups (Magi and shepherds) answered the call. Both groups made it to their destination. The Magi humbled themselves and worshiped the Child-King. They gave gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The shepherds gave of themselves and gave their testimonies. They both had a Jesus encounter! They honored Jesus in their own individual ways.Both groups returned differently by forging new paths. They did not return the way they came. They came in seeking, they left rejoicing after their Jesus encounter. Enter to WORSHIP; depart to SERVE! No matter who we are, people will hear us because our message of Christ is bigger than we are.After hearing the message where will you go from here? Will you embrace 2021 by pursuing what God has called you to? Jesus is calling out to each of us, will we listen? Will we go into 2021 with a renewed mind in Christ Jesus?LIVE, LIVE, LIVE for Christ Jesus! We serve the King of Kings, the Lord of Lord, and the SAVIOR OF THE WORLD! Know who YOU are in Christ Jesus! Let Jesus lead you into 2021! Jesus wants to transform us to be more like Him today.
