Where Do You Run for Refuge? | Under His Wings | Ruth 2:1-13 | with Joshua Sanders

Where do you run when life feels unstable? Where do you turn when anxiety creeps in, plans fall apart, or the future feels uncertain? Do you run to money? Substances? Unhealthy relationships? We all look for safety somewhere. The question is whether what we’re running to can actually provide us with sustainable safety.In this sermon, we continue our verse-by-verse journey through the book of Ruth as we study Ruth 2:1-13. In the first chapter, we saw Ruth make the decision to leave everything she knew to follow Naomi, pursue God, and join God's people. But she had no certainty of what the future would actually look like. This week's passage is one that shows us where true refuge is found.
