What things increase the likelihood of pain becoming chronic? How beliefs of pain and fear affect what we feel. Researched activities that decrease someone’s chance of dealing with chronic pain. Any lifestyle changes you recommend for someone who has chronic pain can start to improve their health, pain, and healing Does the pain improve when people understand that there is a non-body related cause to their body pain?  Retraining our system to be less protective against certain threats but not all. We must accomplish 2 things: 1. Improve tissue health to be sure that activity is safe for the tissues 2. Help someone's body and brain to relearn that living and moving is safe and doesn't need the pain to protect anymore? Strategies to manage pain include:1. Exercise 2. Breathing 3. Fun/Hobby 4.
