Adenoma detection rate (ADR) is a well established outcome quality parameter for (screening) colonoscopy since it is correlated with the interval cancer rate; however it is not known whether this correlation is linear or whether there is a cut-off, above which the effects on interval cancers do not get bigger any more. This new paper released today with Nastazja Pilonis as lead author tells you which assumption is more likely based on the large Polish screening colonoscopy database
