I was nearly 270 pounds at the age of 27, and diagnosed with high blood pressure. Doctors put me on medication, and I finally realized this wasn't just about a number on a scale or what size my dress was at the time. I had to make a choice. Would I keep making decisions that would damn my health, or, would I decide to live? By eating better, exercising more, going to therapy and leaning on God, I was able to shed 100 pounds.
