Where The DCEU Could Have Been: Man of Steel - 2013

On the countdown to Flash coming in June, I'm talking about where the DCEU could have been in 2023 had they taken their time like the MCU did! Here's how I would have wrote Man Of Steel. Kal'el was an alien sent to Earth as his planet Krypton was decimated. He grows up on Earth as Clark Kent and falls in love with Lois Lane. He's forced into action when General Zod escapes the Phantom Zone with plans to decimate Earth by turning the Sun red and restoring Krypton. Martian Manhunter shows up seemingly out of nowhere to help fight the Kryptonians. The D.E.O., Superman and Martian Manhunter come together to stop Zod from using the Codex and his World Engines to turn Earth into Krypton. Unsure how to stop Zod, Superman contemplates killing him, but Martian Manhunter comes up with the idea to put him in a Red Sun Cell to eliminate his powers. Superman says Martian Manhunter is the powerful being on this planet and responds saying the "Age of Heroes" has begun. Manhunter turns back into Henshaw when a private tells him there's a pod by Zod's ship. End credits: A group of lawyers help Zod make bail and he's brought to a Lexcorp Yacht. Lex asks him what he is. Zod says, A God, and Lex says they don't need Gods and shoots him with a Kryptonite bullet.
