Where the Lord Wants You is the Best Place to Be: Mark and Betsy McDonough, Medical Field Professionals and Kingdom Builders

Mark and Betsy met at Covenant Christian High School, where they began dating during their sophomore year and graduated in 2012. From the very beginning, their relationship has been grounded in a shared love for Christ and a desire to follow Him faithfully. Following their time at Covenant, Betsy attended Olivet Nazarene University, where she completed nursing school and was a three-time All-American soccer player. Mark attended Purdue University before attending dental school in Indianapolis, where he also completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency.Mark and Betsy were married in 2017 and are now parents of two young children. After the birth of their first child, Betsy stepped away from nursing to devote herself to being a stay-at-home mom, joyfully embracing the calling of raising their children in a Christ-centered home. Mark currently practices at Avon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
