Where the Pros Wanted the Krakow Major to be

Few of us were expecting the next Major to be handed to PGL and head to Krakow in Poland, but here we are. You can clearly see the reasoning behind it, CS is massive in Poland, as proven by IEM Katowice becoming the biggest esports event ever, and Krakow has a fantastic venue in the form of the TAURON Arena. Krakow also has the advantage of having a decent nightlife scene, which is more than can be said for Katowice. It also looks like the pros were caught off guard by this decision, or at least it isn't one that many had thought as a realistic option. A few weeks before the announcement of the Krakow Major we spoke with some of the biggest names in the world of pro CS:GO, to see what tournament organiser they would like to see given the next Major. None of them mentioned PGL as a possibility. However they did have more than a few good suggestions, and some that caught us a little off guard.
