Where to Keep Your Supplements (Not the Freezer)
from The Sunny Side by SOLEY · host SOLEY
How should you store your supplements? A cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, with the cap properly closed. That is the direction printed on the label and for most people it describes an ordinary kitchen cupboard. Not the fridge. Not the freezer. Not the shelf above the kettle. We read 1,005 reviews in this category ourselves, and one small thing that came out of it had nothing to do with what was in the bottle: where people keep it. The place that came up most often was the freezer. Rupert explains why the instinct is understandable and still aimed at the wrong object. The instruction has two halves and most people only hear one. Cool AND dry. A freezer is emphatically cool, but the bottle does not stay in there — it travels out into a warm kitchen twice a day and back again, which is the part nobody pictures. The bathroom cabinet fails from the other direction, being the steamiest room in the house, and the shelf above a kettle manages heat and damp at once. Cathy wins the round: for most people in most kitchens this is the least consequential thing the show has discussed, and Rupert concedes it rather than inflating a small point into a health decision. What survives is the useful end of it — direct sunlight, a cap that never quite closes, the packet that should be left alone, and a seal that is a stop sign. SOLEY Aged Garlic Complex supports heart health. It supports healthy circulation. It supports healthy blood flow. It provides antioxidant support.
