Where Was Everybody? When Cancer Returned, Our Tribe Showed Up!!!

Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going When my husband's cancer returned, we expected our family to stand with us.   Instead, many never called, never texted, never visited and some even believed we were lying about his cancer diagnosis.  The heartbreak was real--but so was God's faithfulness.God surrounded us with an incredible tribe of people who weren't related by blood, didn't grow up with us, and didn't know our story.  Yet they showed up during hospital visits, encouraged us through cancer treatments, prayed with us during scan, and stood beside us at doctor's appointments.  They became the family God knew we needed.This episode is powerful reminder that family isn't always defined by blood---sometimes it's defined by love, loyalty, faith, and showing up when it matters most.Have you found your tribe?  Who has stood by you during life's hardest moments?
