Where would you spend your eternity?

from Pneuma Podcast

Based on (John 14:1-6), Where would you spend your eternity? Is a clarion call to Christians and everyone else who cares about eternity to consider what they are doing about eternity. Eternity is a serious future to consider because of the ephemerality of this world.  (2 Peter 3:10) informs us that “the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly like a thief in the night; and on that day, the sky will vanish with a roar, the elements will melt with intense heat, and the earth and all the works done on it will be seen as they truly are.” If you consider seriously eternity you will not be taken by surprise. The reason why Jesus Christ came to us is because of eternity, however, eternity cannot be discussed in isolation of Heaven and Hell because in the end these two destinations are what is on offer so, while we preach, teach and talk about salvation, faithfulness, and grace, we do need to understand that the reason for salvation is because of eternity, the reason why we seek to live lives of faithfulness to God is because of eternity and the reason we ask for the grace of God is because of eternity no more no less, therefore, subtracting eternity from our gospel is tantamount to no gospel at all.Through this podcast I want you to know that there is still time if have not taken the matter of eternity to heart yet.   One day, you will be standing right before your maker and there would be no time to make amend so I ask you today away from everything else that you will give this message a prayerful thought.
