Where Are We Now is a short series of podcasts hosted by Myles Hart. The show consists of beautiful, painful, playful and insighful conversations with influential and inspirational people from both the Creative and Mental Health industries. Myles sits with his guests to discuss a variety of topics from the perception of the black male, appreciation vs appreciation, Mental health, representation of the black female and more. The Where Are We Now Podcast takes you on a journey with the guests where we learn about their personal stories, their connection to such topics, how they were impacted by the BLM movement following the murder go George Floyd and ultimately where they are now.This show serves as a part of the #WhereAreWeNow week long campaign by DNXBLM that commemorates the murder of George Floyd by continuing the conversations that seemed to have gone quiet. It aims to remind all of us we have come far, but still have far to go. It uplifts and validates the shared experiences from Black people in our communities, highlights important issues and celebrates Melanin Magnificence. By bringing mental Health to the forefront we aim to normalise and eradicate stigmas regarding mental health and therapy that still exist within our communities by having these open conversations.
