Where's New Church Spokesman Aaron Sherinan

On a current events episode of Mormonish Podcast, Rebecca and Landon explore the events surrounding Aaron Sherinian being called as the new LDS church's Managing Director of Communications. Aaron Sherinian was announced as the new church spokeman on January 9th, 2024 and stated on LinkedIn that he would start his new role immediately. Rebecca and Landon search social media to discover evidence that he has started acting in his new capacity, if any exists. Controvery erupted following the annoucement after it was discovered Aaron posted pictures of himself at a Pride Parade and made pother posts about being an ally to the LGBTQ community. Progressive Mormons thought this choice of church spokesman pointed to more inclucivity and a positive step forward. More conservative Mormons questioned whether this choice was appropriate. Silence on the part of Aaron only leads to more questions.
