Let’s look at two right out the gate:1 Cor 3:19-20 - 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”There you go. The world has wisdom but compared to the counsel of God it is foolishness. And how many people think that they are wise in their own small minds when trying to impress the humanly ignorant using fancy words and unfounded facts and truths to come off looking intelligent. Stand them next to Jesus and all of that pride will either make them murderously mad or humbly humble. Also notice that those who access the wisdom of the world, which is very limited in its scope, are crafty. Some of the most obvious people thinking that they were or are wise beyond people’s understanding of comprehension is in the medical field, pharmaceutical industry, commercial industry, addiction perpetuation industries, academic industries, oh no wait. Think about how many academics preach against God, or try and teach that there is no God, or that zero plus zero equals humanity. The angels must look down and maybe at least think of asking God if this whole salvation plan is the best option. Ha, considering that the God who created those who oppose Him, not considering that they wouldn’t even be alive to oppose Him if in fact it wasn’t for Him, are declaring and shouting in full out rebellion, as if there is a reward for shaking your fist in the face of God, there is no God! I did this and I am an academic nut who could support my stance with ill-founded logic, or simply by making the believer sound like a complete fool. Ha, and yet did I know it was I who was the fool in every way. I may as well have taken up the cause to tell everyone that the world is flat, or that gravity only exists in the minds of the weak, or that air or oxygen is not necessary to sustain life. Oh, don’t feel bad for me, I just needed to work around those in whom I thought were smart or just in a better station in life than myself to see that they were lost nutjobs, not at all unlike myself. Now I ask why me God? You had every right to vaporize me to make a point. It’s like the picture of a 10-year-old kid staring at his dad right in the face and calling him stupid because his father doesn’t believe what the kids teacher just taught him, and the father’s response is to simply love him until his kid comes around.
