WHILE WE WAIT - 2 Peter 1:16-21 | Cam Stephens
from Grant Podcast Hosted by Grant Church
Pastor Cam Stephens teaches from 2 Peter 1:16-21 where the Apostle Peter refutes the accusations of false teachers who question the authority of the apostles and the gospel they preached. Cam lays out how Peter successfully refuted the accusations by proving the legitimacy of their message and the error of their gnostic teaching. Finally Cam emphasizes how the passage is relevant to us today when we encounter the same kinds of arguments or doubts within ourselves, and how we can be sure, just as Paul's audience was of the validity of the gospel.Grant Church – Winnipeg, ManitobaScripture:2 Peter 1:16–21Speaker:Cam StephensTopics covered:• Spiritual growth and maturity• Christlike character• Faith in action• Refuting gnosticism• Reliability of Scripture• Evidence for the faith• Challenges to the GospelSubscribe for weekly sermons and biblical teaching from Grant Church.#2Peter #SpiritualGrowth #ChristianCharacter #BibleTeaching #ChristianCommunity #LoveOneAnother #GrantChurch #CamStephens #Discipleship #FaithInAction #apologetics Watch the complete service: https://youtube.com/live/YThi8sdVxVMWe would love to hear from you!Instagram: @grantchurch.caFacebook: grantchurch.caEngage on our website: https://www.grantchurch.ca
