from It's the Liquor Talking · host Ryan Maloney

Whisk(e)y Wednesday Nelson’s Green Brier w/ Christen Larochelle Aug 2nd 2023 Their story. In 2006, when Andy and Charlie Nelson drove to a small town in Tennessee to see a butcher, what they found was their destiny. In passing, the two mentioned stories they’d heard about their family’s whiskey business. The butcher, located on Distillery Road, pointed them to the local historian, who proudly showed them two perfectly preserved bottles of Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey produced by their great-great-great grandfather. Time stood still and from that moment on, the brothers have dedicated their lives to resurrecting their ancestor’s top-quality whiskey appreciated by aficionados everywhere. Artfully crafted in the heart of Music City, our spirits can be found nationwide. From Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey, which uses Charlie and Andy's great-great-great grandfather’s original recipe, to our latest expressions of Nelson Brothers Whiskey, their family is continuously growing, always building on the traditions of great American whiskey.
