Whispering Jack, a new musical about John Farnham, will premiere in Sydney in November 2024, focusing on the pivotal 1986 period when the singer was struggling financially before his career-defining album. The production stars Ben Hall as manager Glenn Wheatley and Bonnie Anderson as his wife Gaynor Wheatley, who famously mortgaged their house to fund the album.
