Whispering your name
from Poetry by Tim Windisch · host Tim Windisch
Whispering your name Long before you were part of my yesterdays, I would close my eyes And picture tomorrows where the sun shines lying under cloudless skies Then a voice called out and shook me from my slumber saying I feel the same Like a fairy tale story, ever since that night I go to sleep whispering her name Wounds of times that we pray to God never have a chance to return Healed by the magic salve of our love, your touch can heal my burn Tired of being lied to, beaten down and made part of a game You cleared the table of the pieces, held me close and I’m whispering your name Christina, hold me tight! Take me in your arms tonight Walk with me down the roads we’ve never seen Wash my pain and kiss my trampled heart clean Tell me once more how me you just wouldn’t be the same Honey, greet tomorrow with me, kiss me as I’m whispering your name Baby I’m yours for eternity Loving you ever fervently I may be over the top, but you know that honey you’re to blame I’m so head over heels in love with you I’m always whispering your name I love you babe!
