White Fang Part 3 Chapter 6 - The Famine

In which White Fang, now a year old and growing in strength and stature, asserts his place among the village dogs, learning the hard lessons of respect and conflict in the wild sphere of their society. The great famine brings hardship and hunger, forcing him to fend for himself in the forest, where his cunning and endurance see him through the cruelest of trials until he returns to the village changed yet resolute.
