White Sox Turn to Sandlin as Schultz Struggles

Noah Schultz’s rehab outing didn’t go as planned, forcing the White Sox to turn to David Sandlin—a fiery fastball pitcher with strikeout power but control issues—to fill the void. Meanwhile, the Royals roll with Steven Cruz on the mound and Bobby Witt Jr. back in the lineup as DH, hoping to avoid injury setbacks while Mitch Spence steps in as a bullpen stopgap.
