White-tailed Deer snorting

I was recording birds on a bog trail in Schoodic Woods, and so was standing perfectly still. I'm guessing the two deer caught my scent and they began snorting, perhaps to communicate caution, and suprisingly this went on for a couple of minutes. I never saw them or heard them leave the area, but I'd guess they left the area quietly during the couple of minutes of silence that followed their snorting. B06h21m02s18jun2019y
