from CAT BEAR · host Gail Nobles
Beginning Orchestra by: Gail NoblesHeartbeat by: Gail NoblesQuotes by: Whitney HoustonI’m Gail Nobles, and you’re listening to the Whitney Soul Podcast. You know Whitney said a lot of things for us to remember. She said: The world talk about me. I love y’all, but I don’t live for y’all. …. When you’re older, you learn what it’s about to relax and enjoy. You’re not so young; not so eager. Some of the mistakes you made are gone. They’re over!”Those are the words of Whitney. Yea, she’s resting now. Resting in peace. She tried to talk to us. She tried to laugh and share with us on stage when she was here. Those that got a chance to meet Whitney and talk with Whitney, you were blessed. We should cherish every moment that we have with someone. Whenever we saw the look of depression on Whitney Houston’s face, that was a sign right there. She was telling us, I’m tired y’all. Too much is upon me. She would go: Woo! Oh bless the Lord. Have I sang enough?”Whitney Houston talked about all the friends she lost. She said: This doesn’t make any sense. We’re not suppose to see our children die before us.”But, I suppose she understood before she left this world because as you get closer to God, you can see a lot of things. I know. She said: I believe there’s a better place. Got to be better than this.”And she was right. And that’s what I see. As I look out across the field standing on my back porch, I know I’m going to go someday too. And I understand that place and why Whitney wanted to be there.Music commentary news.
