Who am I - Identity
from Identity . Purpose. Worship
This episode explores identity through the comfort and love of God as Father. I share my personal story of not knowing my biological father and how God has become the source of my identity, security, and belonging. Psalm 139, 2 Corinthians 1, John 3:16, and Colossians 1, highlight three truths: God knows you completely. God loves you deeply. God has rescued you and given you a new identity in His kingdom. Darkness is simply living without this knowledge, and understanding who God is leads to understanding who we are. Bonhoeffer’s poem “Who Am I?” affirms that, no matter our inner questions, our identity is secure in God. Dear listener God knows you, God loves you, and God has a plan for you.
