Who are the Hebrew Israelites from the Lincoln Memorial conflict? Part 1

In this week's show we discuss the Lincoln Memorial event that went viral a month ago. In January 18, Native American activists and Catholic teenagers wearing Trump hats had a confrontation. This incident drew national attention, but what most people don't know is that this situation was prompted by a half dozen Hebrew Israelites agitators. These individuals are part of a group of religious zealots who claim Jewish ancestry but are opposed to mainstream Jews and Euro-Americans. According to "Racist Black Hebrew Israelites Becoming More Militant". Intelligence Report by the Southern Poverty Law Center some BHI are considered black supremacists as they "believe that Jews are devilish impostors and ... openly condemn whites as evil personified, deserving only death or slavery". However according to this report by the SPLC the members of this group who hold these views are a minority as "most Hebrew Israelites are neither explicitly racist nor anti-Semitic and do not advocate violence." The ones involved in this altercation were members of The House of Israel, other groups include Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge, the Nation of Yahweh, the Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ and 12 Tribes of Israel.
