Who are the Nephilim? (Part 1) | Genesis 6:1-8

Genesis 6:1–8 introduces one of the Bible’s most mysterious passages: the sons of God, the Nephilim, and a supernatural rebellion that deepened the corruption of the world before the flood. In this message, we explore why the “sons of God” are best understood as members of the heavenly host, how they rejected the boundaries established by God, and why the Nephilim became symbols of violent power and human renown. Yet even as rebellion spreads through both the spiritual and human realms, God remains sovereign—and Noah finds favor in His sight.
