Who Are We? // Strangers No More [Ephesians 2:11-22] (Geoff Smith)

Geoff Smith continues our time in Ephesians this week, looking at the second half of chapter 2. After reading through our passage this week, Geoff looks at the chapter broken into three segments - Alienation (v11-12); Reconciliation (v13-18); and Unification (v19-22). Geoff looks back at Genesis and the covenant with Abraham, alongside the genealogy of Christ, and the responsibility that the Israel nation possessed. He then compares the nation of Israel to the Gentiles before Christ came. Geoff then looks at how Christ reconciled the Jews and the Gentiles, in that Christ broke down the wall of hostility between the two. He then wraps up the chapter by looking at the unification through Christ. Geoff then poses the question "How important is the Church to you?", and discusses how we should show "love" to each other.
