Who Built The Mysterious Serpent Mound In Adams County Ohio?

from Jim Paris Live · host James L. Paris

Researcher and filmmaker L.A. Marzulli joins Jim Paris Live to discuss his new movie Mound Builders. Who built the mysterious Serpent Mound in Adams County Ohio? What is the connection between the fallen angels, Nephilim, and hundreds of mysterious mounds across the United States? Two millennia ago, a culture that is still unknown to us today, erected thousands of mounds throughout the midwestern United States to the Gulf of Mexico. They are called the Hopewell, the Adena, or the Mississippian, however, no one knows what these people actually called themselves. In other words, they remain mysterious and unknown to us today. When the first white settlers encountered the Great Circle Mound of Ohio, they asked the native Americans living there— who built this? The natives replied that they didn’t know who built them, as these large mounds were there and abandoned when they arrived. The discovery of these mounds created a controversy as some posited that the mounds were built by an unknown lost tribe of people, who migrated, perhaps, from the Old World. Others thought they could be one of the lost tribes of Israel. This debate continued until the late part of the 19th century, when the conclusion was made that native Americans had built the mounds, but they had simply forgotten that they had done so. This is now the accepted paradigm, however, is this the truth of what occurred in the ancient past, or has the information been managed to bolster a particular narrative?

The stigma of mental health within those who serve in the shadow of the cross is something that invokes the stigma of fear. Many of those in the clergy will choose to suffer in their despair rather than reaching out for help. Sometimes those suffering choose to wait until it's too late to get the real help that they need. At Wounded Warriors of the Cross our mission is to lift the stigma and the veil of silence that encompasses clergy mental health and assist those who suffer in silence. Wounded Warriors of the Cross is here to shed the light of Christ's love into those dark places.
