An offender in a child sexual abuse case is somebody who has offended or caused harm/made the child uncomfortable/put the child’s modesty at stake, made the child listen to/watch inappropriate audios and videos, made inappropriate comments to the child, and even made untoward advances, that has caused mental trauma to the child, is an OFFENDER. The Offender can be any person. It can be a male, a female, a person of any age, a stranger, a distant friend, a familiar face that you pass by every day or even a relative.
