Who Do You Trust, the LORD or Self?

This morning we will begin a study in the book of Proverbs on how to build our Trust by learning to trust in the LORD.  We will begin our study with two lessons taken from the promise declared by the LORD in Proverbs 3:5-6.  This is a commonly quoted passage and I hope to shed light on the depth of its meaning for our trust in God, building our trustworthiness, and discovering how we can better come to determine who we can trust in this life.  The title of this morning's sermon is "Who Do You Really Trust, the LORD or SELF?"  We will begin by answering the question, What does it mean to- "Trust in the LORD with all your heart?"   The second question we will endeavor to answer is, What does it mean- "Do not lean on your own understanding?"   We will close the sermon with two simple "Real Time" comparative case studies.
