Send us Fan MailWho Does God Accept ? "I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every people anyone who fears him and practices righteousness is acceptable to him.” From Acts 10:34-35In the days following Jesus’s crucifixion and resurrection, Peter and Jesus’s other close followers came to understand that God loves the world, everyone and everything. They came to understand that being accepted by God doesn’t require adherence to specific customs and traditions. Being accepted doesn’t require correct beliefs and understanding. Being accepted requires our practicing righteousness while living with a sense of awe and wonder. Righteousness as described by Jesus requires us to love our neighbors in both tangible and intangible ways. We care for the poor, the sick and the imprisoned. We welcome the stranger. We do good to everyone including our enemies. We work for justice, equity and equality. Everyone who lives with a sense of awe and wonder, appreciation and humility while practicing kindness, compassion is accepted by God. I’m Horace McMillon.
