Who done it? A murder mystery high school dream

from Therapist In Your Pocket with Lucy Ellis · host Lucy Ellis

In this episode, Shauna and I attempt to start off talking about the major themes in the dream, but end up on a side adventure talking about why therapy is so powerful and how to find the right therapist. When we do get to the dream, we explore the ideas of romancing parts of ourselves, how the taboo isn’t always taboo with dreams, and how dreams get our attention in really dramatic ways. Dream Explored: I am at a high school. There are two girls who are good friends, and I take a liking to them. Especially one girl, romantically. We connect and kiss and I know she’s someone I want to get to know better. I meet her parents and begin to become part of her life. Her parents don’t know about the romance, but I think they like me. I wonder if I’m too old for her, but I look forward to seeing her every day. There is a murder in the school. It happened right in front of many people, while I was gone. As I come in, I see people talking about it. They are investigating it. Later, there is a big court room where I attend and sit in the view of the girl I like. I am curious if they will find the murderer.
