Who is Able to Stand?

Revelation 6 is one of the most dramatic chapters in the Bible, introducing the Four Horsemen, the cries of martyrs, and cosmic signs of judgment. At the center of it all is a single question: who is able to stand? The answer begins with recognizing that Jesus Christ, the Lamb who was slain, is the one opening every seal. Nothing in history happens outside of His sovereign hand. God sees every person who suffers for their faith, and His justice will not be delayed forever. The kings of the earth run to the mountains, but the children of God run to the Lamb. We are able to stand not because of anything we have done, but because of everything He has done. The Lamb reigns, and that changes everything.
