Who is Defiled?

We must be wary of religion when it leans to thinking that religious works can make us clean before God. It is only in seeing that we are naturally unclean that we will run to the saviour. If we don’t see this, we will rely on ourselves in keeping religious works. So, in answer to the question, “Who is defiled?” – all are! But Jesus deals with that. We must resolutely oppose anything that teaches differently.
