"Who is Floorbird?"
from The BoatCast... this is your TRiBe Hosted by Mark Novitsky
On March 28, 2022 The BoatCast ventured into Philly despite snow squalls to see TRB XXI fave, Mom Rock... Several notes into “Navy Blue”, BoatCast Mark and Eammon the Intern were blown away by the hometown opener, Floorbird. Recorded in May 2022, on the date of their release of “Robbers” (a cover of The 1975), Floorbird discusses their creative process in creating their latest single. Enjoy the conflicting stories of how the band’s formation, just in time for COVID to throw a wrench into playing live together. (Check out their live, socially distanced rendition of “I’m Not Nervous” on YouTube). For the first time, Chris Rhoad and BoatCast Mark interview a band that has never been on the boat. Listen as the podcast progresses and Floorbird becomes increasingly enamored with The Rock Boat, TRB Family, and interested in submitting Sixthman Soundcheck.
